Over the years, Abdelkader Benchamma has built up a body of work focused on drawing. His works refer to classical drawing, scientific modeling, and comics, as well as Japanese cartoons, painting, and literature. Benchamma’s drawings have undergone different transformations as a result of deep reflection and experimentation in volume, mass and metamorphosis. They are delicately executed dynamic drawings that explore the representation of different states of matter.
