Jordi Colomer
The work captures a collective action in a public space. A group of anonymous characters hoists a banner that reproduces the silhouette of the building in the background: “El Ruedo” by Sàez de Oiza, one of the most iconic buildings in Madrid. This representation of the building as a banner poses a fictional architecture and points out the utopian and controversial character of this great construction envisioned for collective housing.
