In this work the artist has combined banknotes with origami to make intricate designs. Thus Merino criticizes the neoliberal capitalist system and the exceeded valor that society has given to money, as if it had religious qualities and a power capable of transform and destroy the humanity. To communicate this idea, Merino uses symbolic elements: bronze hands in pray position with an origami figure made with a dollar banknotes whereby he speaks about consumerism, speculation and material love.
