This photographic series, originated from an intervention by Domènec at Mies van der Rohe’s “Barcelona Pavilion”, refers to a historic episode in the early 20th century in which this place was used as a detention centre for migrants. By installing rags and sheets hanging with wooden clothespins on ropes and other humble elements the artist evokes the memory of hundreds desplaced families which lived there precariously
