Jordi Colomer
During his stay in Cuba in 2006, Jordi Colomer placed his camera in front of large movie theaters in Havana to capture images “in bursts”, at regular intervals, for four hours, without intervening in the action. These images show the passing of people and cars – informing a possible portrait of the city that day. The halls of Havana, great palaces of representation currently deteriorated, symbolize the golden age of cinema that is now over.
